She has expertise in assessment and treatment of severe and extreme OCD and anxiety disorders across the lifespan. During her fellowship, Dr. Lazaroe received specialized training and built expertise in evidence-based treatment (Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics [CBiT] and Habit Reversal Training[HRT]) of tics, Tourette’s disorder, and body-focused repetitive behaviors, such as hair pulling/trichotillomania and skin picking. Dr. Lazaroe also has expertise in treatment of depression and mood disorders, phobias, adjustment issues, insomnia and sleep disorders, disruptive behavior, gender dysphoria, social skills deficits, family conflict, and school refusal. Dr. Lazaroe has also received specialized training in assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder across the lifespan, and has expertise in differential diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, trauma, and anxiety.

Dr. Lazaroe is committed to continuously informing her clinical work with up-to-date research on evidenced-based treatments and factors influencing therapy efficacy. She loves working with patients to learn and adapt empirical findings and recommended practices into their everyday lives.

As a therapist, Dr. Lacie prioritizes compassionate care that meets patients “where they are at”. Sometimes we’re super motivated to get started, and sometimes we have lots of questions about therapy or what we will do together— either or, Dr. Lacie is here for it! In her spare time, Dr. Lacie enjoys reading, watching films, and going to Disney World with her family. After a productive therapy session, Dr. Lacie loves to let her patients meet her dog, Wednesday (who is often sleeping beneath the desk), and debrief while sharing favorite teen dramas, Taylor Swift era, fantasy football picks, or Sanrio characters. Dr. Lacie is so excited to meet you and help you meet your goals!
